Little Moreton Hall

Little Moreton Hall is a moated manor house that was built in the 15th and 16th century. It is a fine example of timber-framed domestic architecture.

I’ve never thought of a Tudor house in this way before, Cherry, but it looks like it has tattoos all over its body! :)

I like the way that you framed the Little Moreton Hall Cherie but is does not look that little…. it has held up well over the centuries… since it was built of timbers….peter:)

  6. Such a lovely building!
My home in Malaysia looks similar to this.
    Of course, it’s a mock-Tudor residential building.

This is such a fabulous house. Thanks to the people I get the gist of the scale. What a treasure.

  8. It’s a wonderful piece of architecture. I wonder how it would be to live in such a house. Probably fun, but also a lot of maintenance. Your photograph really captures the essence of the historical building. Very nice.
