I’ve never actually seen them being made. Wonder how smelly it gets.
I think with the original ingredients it would have been pretty stinky. I think me having no sense of smell would have its advantages
I remember him, he is a great story teller, very fascinating. I almost bought some candles, but there was a warning… they smoke… (I should have bought them any way, for my son, to use in the backyard, when they sit out at night)![:)](http://www.cheriesplace.me.uk/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
Wonderful picture.
Also from the girl with the pigs
I read that you went to school ‘next door’, what a place to visit. I think I would go many times, just to see, how things were made in those days.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Smoking candles inside is a bit of a problem. Some substandard oil in and oil burner has caused problems in my house :-/
He was quite a story teller, I can almost imagine him living in those times and coming forward in time to tell us about it.
In my school years I visited often. The museum is very much improved since those days
Yes, this I remember well, too. He had fun talking to Elaine and her dog.
Yes he did
Elaine was telling him about someone she knew who had recently visited and there was a French connection…
Althoiugh the maker seems to have a “here we go again” look on his face!
He seemed to be in his element
