It is a thoughtful quote Cherie… your landscape is superb with so many layers and such depth….peter:)
The layers are meant to represent the seeking, I am glad you saw that
What a wonderful quote. Beautiful landscape–what a peaceful place to be. Mickie
It was amazing, I could have done with spending a few more days there
Ahhh. Now that sure makes sense, Cherry, doesn’t it! I love all the layers in the accompanying image, too.
It does Ginnie, thank you
That is such an extensive view, Cherie – it goes on and on and leads you through different landscapes.
On this occasion I chose the view because it visually represents the quote.
Splendid photo!
Thank you Claude
Many of the men of old are well worth following, moreso than those of today.
And seeking what they sought is even more worth while…
Did Bashou inspired U2 to write I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For?
I used to love this song a lot!
Yes that is a good song, but I am not sure what inspired it
Such as… the transmutation of the elements. Oh, we found out how to do that! But not in the way, or unfortunately in the quantities, that the Alchemists sought. But in the futile quest of the Alchemists they discovered chemistry. We may not find what we seek, but we may find something better, if we can recognize that.
There is always so much more to explore, to learn and many surprises along the way.
Futile Search?
