It looks like a cold and crisp day for a flight Cherie… but i am sure that once it is off the ground the silent soaring flight would be wonderful….peter:)

This was picture was from a couple of days ago and the fog was the same.
I agree flying in those conditions is not sensible, indeed it is quite foolish.

Reminds me of when we bought my husband a glider flight for his 60th birthday. (Long time ago!) He loved it but I was on the ground waiting for him to be there too!! Lovely pic.

I wanted to photograph it from higher up the hill but it was difficult to stop. I was glad a was able to this photo which isn’t quite what had in my minds eye.

Nooo… The sling shot effect/sensation as they are launched is not for me!

I suppose that even when it is cold there are still pockets of air that are warmer than others.
