I once took some pictures of the Eye from Hungerford Bridge. Nicde to see it looking the other way!
It was quite a view. And looking in that direction I was particularly taken with the view of St Paul’s.
The bridge reminds me of those geometic string “drawings” we used to make when kids, Cherry.
Oh Yes! I just remembered the artistic nail and string pictures I made aplenty when I was younger
I recall driving around the Eye when it was being built and being stunned at the sheer size of it. I never did go on it though as I don’t like heights.
The top photo looks similar to the one I mailed you of my park /waterway near my house.
Nice photos, as always, Cherie.
I am OK with heights as long as I am fully enclosed and know that I cannot fall from wherever I am. The Eye was perfect in that respect and I was glued to the window the whole time.
I have to confess I was a bit worried if I would be OK, because a problem with my left ear causes me to have momentary dizzy spells if I hold my head in just the wrong way.
Thanks! Nice to see the view on photos. Looking up or down makes me feel so dizzy now. I doubt I would have enjoyed the Eye trip. A bit too claustrophobic!
It is quite a big Eye, so I think you might have enjoyed it. I hate feeling crowded or trapped in a small space and I had no sense of that whilst I was in there.
