O Universe, all that is in tune with you is also in tune with me.

It’s 5am here and I’m leaving in a moment to do a drop off at the airport. An opportunity the to get in before Andrew, and say the thought of the day sounds good to me, if a little ambitious. I’d be content to be in tune with the world.

    I do try!

But not the discordant elements, hopefully.

  3. Hmm… No comment (other than “Hmm… No comment)

    • CherryPie says:

How about a comment on the strange telephone that isn’t there?

And the strange incident with the glass shelf, which I have not detailed on my blog because it is too weird and inexplicable in any normal way to me!

      • No comment (other than, “No comment”)

        • CherryPie says:

I suppose that means you cannot explain those weird experiences in a scientific/rational way. I couldn’t either…

But I do like to comment about and explore the incidents ;-)

          • Ah well… What it means is that I have pretty much decided to stop speaking my mind on blogs. Life is complicated and mysterious though, that’s for sure, but probably not in the ways most people suspect, and surely not in the ways so many people seem to be so sure of. I cannot comment on what you report as I was not there, but I have experienced such things myself, then had the “Duh…” moments of realization, but… I may largely shut up on other people’s blogs now. I have some things to do. All good wishes to you and I will still be around, and blogging, but probably not speaking my mind in blog comments much more.

            • CherryPie says:

Life is complicated and mysterious. Life is for learning…

As to the two experiences I mentioned I really would like a scientific explanation to them!

I am confused as to why my thoughts would lead you to shut up and not comment further.

              • Nothing to do with your thoughts whatsoever Cherie. Just coincidence with some other things and other blogs, and other thoughts, I assure you. Coincidence is powerful, and unevenly noticed. But… that last remark of yours does resonate with why I am shutting up (coincidentally enough)… people keep misinterpreting and reading into words things that the words were not intended to convey (as you know yourself from other places). Also, some people (not you) get upset when we speak our minds. But I repeat, my developing silence, or at least cessation of speaking my mind on other people’s blogs, has no link whatsoever with any words of your own. Goodnight.

There are many co-incidences in life. I dismiss most of them and the ones that can’t be dismissed are powerful.

Hence my comments and thoughts on my blog on certain subjects which I know opens me up to ridicule!

In other places (blogs) comments and thoughts are misinterpreted and manipulated to provide a desired outcome (ego will not allow proper discussion).

As you know I always enjoy discussing different ideas and opinions and I allow that on my blog ;-) As long as people aren’t being rude to each other!!!

Now it is time to say goodnight,

                  sweet dreams :-)

                  XX

Oh no! Andrew, perhaps this is none of my business, but please don’t stop commenting – here or anywhere else!

I think we’ve all felt the way you do, at one time or another, on these blogs. Without tone, things can be so easily misinterpreted (sometimes intentionally so); but to be fair, I’ve taken things I’ve read the wrong way a time or two myself, if caught on an off day (but nothing from you, you never seem mean-spirited).

I think it would help if we’d all ask what someone means first, before assuming and jumping – but that would require direct, honest communication on both parts and most bloggers are just too passive-aggressive to do that.

We’ve all assumed before too, but unfortunately, blogging seems often a haven for people who are, by nature, passive-aggressive, rather than direct (present company excluded). They often write what they can’t or wouldn’t say in person, and have no idea what to do when you call them on it.

And maybe some just don’t get your sense of humor?

It seems to me, from what little I’ve seen, you try to get people to laugh at themselves more, which is never a bad thing:)

Only you and those that know you best know the heart it comes from; try not to sweat the rest :)

Mon Cherie, I hadn’t mean to comment, I hope I’m not intruding – as for universal coincidences, you already know what I think about that and I’ve written enough already!

Those too-timely coincidences that make you look up at the heavens and say, “Was that you?”

Most of the time, we say “nah, that’s ridiculous”, but sometimes, you’ll get another one or two shortly thereafter you can’t ignore:)

    Such beauty in simplicity Cherie….peter:)

Is this moonscape a picture of yours, Cherie? We had the most magnificent moons [and stars] on the farm as it was so dark there. I truly used to stand out in the ark, gazing at the moon ,wishing I could photograph it.

    • CherryPie says:

Yes it is one of mine, most of the photos on my blog are ;-)

It was taken from my garden on Saturday night after my fun day at Chatsworth.

Your farm sky sounds wonderful :-)
