Three Dancing Ladies

Pretty in Pink

Watching the World Go By

I’m Only A Cat

I’m only a cat,
and I stay in my place…
Up there on your chair,
on your bed or your face!

I’m only a cat,
and I don’t finick much…
I’m happy with cream
and anchovies and such!

I’m only a cat,
and we’ll get along fine…
As long as you know
I’m not yours… you’re all mine!

I LOVE the fuschia image in particular, Cherry, because I grew a fuschia hanging basket in my botany class at university in the 60s. I loved it! And of course, I had to share your cat poem with Astrid. HA!

  6. Oh I love the bougainvillea shot :)
Have you been to Chiswick House (EH) in West London?
They’ve a huge glasshouse there too – specialising camellias thou.

  7. Beautiful Bougainvillaea and Fuchsia, two of my most favourite plants/shrubs, lovely pictures yet again Cherie,

  8. Not forgetting the lucky black cat, loved the poem too.
My cat sits for hours staring at the wild life outside, she chatters to the Magpies and Thrush and growls at next door’s cat if he dares to venture on her property!
