Oh…
the places seen…
and the memories made…
These are some of the worst things too.
The gift of forgetfulness could be a help, often.
Lovely view of the tree against that sky.
I must be blessed with the gift of focusing on the people who have given my joy rather than the other sort, who are easy to give pain.
My bad experiences helped shape who I am today, I do not dwell on them. But sometimes those experiences give me focus.
Andrew was quicker. : )
And we just cross posted
But you always follow on behind faithfully Seanso, to whatever dark places I lead… and then other times you lead me to the delightful light
What can I say following those beautiful exchanges? The best things in life is what we forgive, as Andrew says. If we don’t, the best things in life are rotten by the burden we carry.
Great photo!
Should it have been: “are” what we forgive….
As I’m getting older, French is chasing away the English I thought I knew well.
C’est la vie Madame Claude
Je ne regr… Nah… Je does regret, mais je tries de forgeter (oh, Je getting confuse aussi?)
I think what you are trying to say is “j’ai oublié tous les mots”
….that’s my standard reply (with a smile) when French people ask if I can speak French.
Thank you Claude
an elegant setting to go with the sentiments, Cherie. very nice.
Glad you like it
Cherie, have you considered running two of these a week? It’s an awfully long time to have to wait.
I think one a week is more than enough
Then I must pine.
I will present you with other different good things throughout the week. No need to pine
A perfect thought to start the week.
I am glad the thought inspired you
Precious memories indeed!
Nothing like a leafless tree against a fading sun, wonderful.
I am so lucky it is the backdrop to my back garden
