Dramatic and poignant. I would have liked to manange a visit, but I won’t.
I am here only to take one ‘n’ in quarantine.

It is well worth a visit and you would take some great photos of it.
I love that second shot! Are the flowers poppies?I love the way they are raised somewhat to make your photo almost 3d! Fab pic!!!
And the shaping of the beds-is that to symbolize the blood that flowed?
I really love this photo!!! ( I sometimes wonder if the places look as good on site as they do in your photo shoots…)
It is entitled ‘Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red’. Each poppy represents one of the British and Colonial fatalities during WWI (800,00). The poppy installation looks even better on location. It is quite moving.

It is a dramatic art installation.
No matter how many different ways I see the poppies, I am transfixed and in awe. I love this view Cherie.
I have a few more to come, perhaps I will do something with them for the 11th November.
What an inspiration to create this – I am so pleased that it is to remain on show for longer than planned
It is well worth going to have a look if you get the chance
