That’s a fine view, too! Is this from your hotel room? If so, I hope the clock did not chime during the night.
It is a view from my room. The clock stopped chiming at 10.30pm and didn’t resume chiming until 6.30am. Also the shutters and double glazed windows managed to block out all sound from outside.
I rather liked the sounds of hussle and bussle in the square so I always left the window open a crack when I went to bed.
The best kind of room, Cherry!
I agree
Wonderful shot – as are the others on your recent posts. Not that ALL of your shots aren’t wonderful…oh, you know what I mean…:-)
Thanks Mike I do know what you mean
Oh, this is a delight, what a view…. this is wonderful.
You will love the town square which we could also see from the window
excellent view, CP. this would make one hurry out in the open all the sooner!
It was a beautiful place to be in
The tower reminded me of Siena?!
The tower is a scaled down version of the bell tower in St Mark’s square, Venice.
Amazing view, the builders couldn’t have composed the scene better for you
Hope you slept well.
I didn’t sleep very well in Piran, I am not sure why. But curiously I never felt tired during the day either. Perhaps I didn’t need much sleep in such a relaxing environment.
