Morning Sunshine

When I awoke on Christmas morning I was treated to a beautiful sunrise glowing through one of our bedroom windows. I tried to photograph the sunrise through the bedroom window but the sun was so bright that it caused too many reflections on the glass. I did however manage to capture the sunny glow through the windows next to the front door. By the time I had got dressed the sunshine had become obscured by clouds.

I enjoyed ‘my gift’ of sunny light on Christmas morning, it was a delight :-)

How the day’s weather changed yesterday from sun, cloud, wind, and sun again. You look well tidy for the holiday.

We only got this brief moment of sunshine. But it was lovely.

It took a bit of effort to get the downstairs tidied up ready for Christmas after having the hallway done :-)

It’s all so lovely, how you have decorated for the season, Cherry. So glad you had the sun. It was a misty sort of day for us but we still enjoyed it.

A warm welcome as you head day to enjoy a day of fun. Very different to darkest Wiltshire; grey and gloomy most of the day but some sun middle of the afternoon to light up the dining table for a few minutes.

Happy Christmas to you and Mr. C. I think I missed a lot of post. Love the pictures you show. I am glad to hear that everything was ready before Christmas, it took some ’sweat’ I suppose… but here you are with a wonderful tree and a very decorative room. You can be proud that you survived the ‘before’ time before Christmas.

Thanks Astrid. It was a lot of hard work to get the downstairs tidy and the trees put up in time for Christmas.

There will be nine of us for dinner tomorrow. This morning I was getting the places set up on the dining table to see how it will work before we went out after lunch to visit other family members :-)

    Love that yellow.

It does look lovely in this photo :-) We are going to change the colour slightly because when the sun isn’t shining it looks too yellow. I need to find just the right colour that looks love with and without the sunshine :-)

How lovely, what is a better gift to the world than light piercing through darkness :)
