Happy New Year!!!
I have now heard the song, Auld Lang Syne 2018 times – in just one night – I’m sure.
I’m inclined to agree with Billy Crystal about it, in “When Harry Met Sally.”
Harry: “What does this song mean? My whole life, I don’t know what this song means. I mean, ‘Should old acquaintance be forgot’? Does that mean that we should forget old acquaintances, or does it mean if we happened to forget them, we should remember them, which is not possible because we already forgot?”
Sally: “Well, maybe it just means that we should remember that we forgot them or something. Anyway, it’s about old friends.”
Anyway, Happy New Year, my acquaintance or old friend that I never forgot in the first place
I only heard it once played by 1st Battalion Scots Guards the Jules Holland show started
We have to listen to Jules on New Years Eve. There were some good artists performing last night.
