On a soggy saturday we drove to Banbury for a family gathering at the delightful Little Amsterdam Cafe. We ended up spending most the afternoon there due to an accident on the motorway causing holdups on the journey.
The pancakes were as delicious as they had been on our previous visit and the staff were charming. They loved the fact that we had all travelled from some distance to meet up in in a central point and we had chosen their cafe.
A good time was had by one and all
Those are sodding big pancakes!!!!
They are extremely thin just like a pancake should be. Not to much and not too little
They do look good.
Coffee is on
They were
Sheer delight.
Absolutely, I may try a savoury pancake next time.
The breakfast ones my nephews chose looked delicious
Now that does not look bad at all … I think I would not mind a soggy afternoon there. Yes, this looks very Dutch. Our favorite is Shoarma with pineapple and cheese. A good meal, we take half each and as a starter we have melon with ham, dried tomato’s and some sprouts and a buttered bun from the oven. We know the owner very well, he is also a photographer.
The savoury pancakes looked delicious too. I might try one next time I go there
