I really feel for all the animals as the heatwave continues with no end in sight. I’m missing England’s green and pleasant land!
We have had a nice sprinkling of rain today, it has freshened up the air. It did put paid to my lunch plans though
We had last week some rain at night, but nearly enough to make up for all the drought we have. The other day I read that ticks are going deep in the ground to keep cool and moisturized. There are 50% less bites registered. We have a saying, ” every dis-advantaged comes with an advantage” (Johan Cruijff, soccer payer)
Today has been particularly hot and humid. We needed to move furniture around ready for the decorator who is due to arrive next week. The rooms he is painting need to be empty.
Even before we moved furniture around we broke out into a sweat…
After all the activity we enjoyed dining on our relatively cool patio as the sun went down and the stars came out
