…have taken up my time recently.

Rest a While with Me

I have a backlog of ideas and adventures to share on my blog. I hope to be back soon with regular blogging and catching up on my backlog :-)

But for now ‘Rest a While with Me‘.

Then, I am still and wait here in the silence,
Until you come and sit awhile with me.

You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains
You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas
I am strong, when I am on your shoulders
You raise me up… to more than I can be.

If you follow the link the photo (taken in May this year) shows the same bench a few years on. This particular bit of woodland holds a special charm for me :-)

Thank you dear Shabana. I am fine, it is the people around me who are not completely fine.

In addition to that my dear aunt (94 years of age) recently passed away and we are sorting out her funeral arrangements which requires a lot of traveling because she lived a distance away from us.

Take your time and please take care of yourself. Sometimes life can be very very busy and you have to make choices. See you around again. Good luck with everything. Love and best wishes.

      Thanks Astrid :-)

It was my Aunt’s funeral today. She asked Mr C to sort out things for her when she passed away, this included organising the funeral arrangements. As she did not live near to us this meant several journeys back and forth to visit the relevant people. My aunt had written everything down (including her wishes) in great detail making it easier for us to try to sort things out for her in the way she would want.

  4. You take care of yourself, CP.

I’ve always wondered where you get the energy from to carry on regularly like you do, not only blogging away regularly, but always finding time to respond to comments.
    You deserve a rest.
I gave up after five years blogging, as I found it so time consuming. As we all get older, time becomes more valuable and I believe it should be spent wisely.
Come back soon with perhaps some renewed vigor… or even with the original vigor that you always seem to possess.
(Blog) resting, but active friend, Bernard.

      Thank you Bernard :-)

I love blogging about my adventures and places I have visited and engaging with friends and commenters on my posts. I am sure I will be back soon with my backlog of post ideas and my more recent holiday adventures :-)

My vigor is still here, it has just been directed to sideways for a time ;-)

  6. Welcome back!

    >I am reminded of the metro in Manchester.
Funny you mentioned that I went there just two weeks ago.
