PS: Although the quote fits my recent circumstances I am not being melancholy. I chose the quote because the rain started just as I stepped out of my house for a sunday afternoon walk. I almost changed my mind (about stepping out for a walk)… I am glad I stuck with my plan I experienced some delightful pleasures along my walk including this beautiful display of pink standing in contrast with its surroundings.
Despite the rain being heavy at times I remained dry 
It really is all about perspective.
I can’t imagine a life without rain, Cherry, but know there are places that go without it for months on end. How is that possible?
The greens of grass and leaves and flower petals always look so vibrant after rain.
A walk in the rain can be so refreshing – it’s just persuading ourselves that it is a good thing to do
Yes I have to force myself to go out for a walk if it is raining.
I cannot imagine a life without rain…we are so used to it and it is part of our system. Although it amazes me what can grow with little rain.
I don’t think I would like to live in a dry arid country.

We have had quite a lot of rain over here. It is more like autumn than summer.
The weather was kind to us on our recent holiday. In fact I think we visited the only part of the country where it wasn’t raining.
