Great photography! Poor old Richard III. The precious son and heir Edward died suddenly in childhood and the parents were inconsolable. Then Richard himself died in battle. So the plaque on the wall was really important.
It is always interesting to see history in its context.

i don’t think much about what was left of the sculpture of Saint Peter….peter:)
Saint Peter seems to have been eroded away by the elements over the years. I am glad we still have what remains of what once would have been a fine sculpture.
There a cathedral in Spokane Washington, St John the building you post remind me of it. Mainly the color.

I love how fine architecture is built with different types of stone giving each building a special character
