That is very true. And I find going back to places for a second or third time etc are always so different, and not just the place
I find that too.
We don’t have fords in Malaysia.
I was so thrilled when I saw one here in England for the first time.
It was somewhere in Wiltshire.
I had not seen a ford like this for many a long year. It was the second one we saw on this holiday, the first one we drove through (sadly I can’t remember exactly where we were).
Have you been to Eynsford in Kent?
They actually have a proper ford there (yes like the place name suggests)
There’s a Norman castle in Eynsford too.
Not far away from the town centre, there’s also a Roman villa.
