It seems like forever since I’ve visited an abbey or cathedral. I love the architecture and stained glass windows of this one.
2020 was year of the Cathedral and Year of Pilgrimage so I bought a Pilgrim Passport that can be stamped when you visit a Cathedral.
As it turned out 2020 wasn’t a good year for visiting anywhere so I am making up for this year.
Beautiful photos of a very lovely abbey. The Tom Denny windows there are stunning! I wish I had a pilgrim passport!
You can still get hold of one. I got mine last year from the following link.

Oh yes, I remember the black bear.
Even went to the oldest pub by the river in town.
What is the oldest pub?
We hope to go back to Tewkesbury soon.
Ye Olde Black Bear.
Food was OK, but the building (13th century) is definitely worth a visit.
The building looks fabulous. I see it is experiencing a transformation.
