Naughty but nice, indeed, Cherry. I can’t think of a better way to describe it…for that every-once-in-awhile experience.
A lovely Christmas gift from last year
What a lovely afternoon tea. The gardens there are very good.
The gardens are even better in summer, although they are busier then
Eating luscious afternoon tea in the sunshine, surrounded by beautiful gardens, is never naughty. You are absorbing the history and atmosphere of the Priory Church, and analysing the priorities of the National Trust.
On this occasion I was enjoying the sunshine and the beauty of the Roses in the show gardens. And remembering that I need to get refocussed on ‘my’ garden project
That looks so inviting, I hope to join you and Mr. C some day!
By the way, I LOVE that green dress! I have one that’s very similar to it, actually, only with a slightly larger print. I often wear my big straw sunhat with it
The dress is new from an independant dress shop. I tried on several and this was Mr C’s favourite. I will have to try it with a hat, although that will probably be next year now. Autumn is setting in over here.
The long pond reminded me of Kensington Roof Garden.
Sadly, it is now closed for good.
That is a shame.
