Artist, Bruce Sherratt depicts the Covid-19 Pandemic in what he refers to as ‘Tropical Surrealism’.
PANDEMIC 202 is Bruce’s response to the COVID-19 global pandemic, expressed through his engagement with the emotions raised by the crisis. The colourful kaleidoscopic palette used in the painting suggests a dream-like, hallucinogenic narrative that combines with symbolic, mythological and surrealistic forms to intrigue and unsettle the viewer in equal measure. *

It has to be unsettling to even begin to represent what has happened through Covid, Cherie
It perhaps reflects the artists own thoughts at that time.
That does seem to capture the pain and confusion of the time
I think so too.
i think even though i am not much good at still the unsettling feeling are powerful enough to get into notice
thanks for sharing art and for the introduction of painter
more blessings to you both!
They were indeed difficult times that have had ongoing effects on daily routines.
Too colourful for something that took so many lives…
Maybe the design would work better for you in Black & White?
