An idyllic scene wherever it is!
It wasn’t always so.
Golden fields but I can’t identify the place.
I thought you might have guessed this one
Battle field in the War of the Roses or Civil War?
Perhaps, Battle of Bosworth Fields?
You have got the right idea but it isn’t there.
I have no idea but it’s gorgeous. I was going to say typical olde English countryside but then I remembered that huge fields weren’t a part of the past.
This one is something from the past.
Well, if it wasn’t for the stone church and your mention of a nearby castle, I would have to say it looks sort of like the northern part of the midwest, USA.
The other flaw in that is that I took the photo and I have never been to the USA
Is it by Kenilworth Castle… what with the siege?
No not Kenilworth. It is in relation to question 6.
I am just about to publish a post with the answer now.
I’d originally taken it to be in France, due to the style of church – but, of course, the ‘auld alliance’ …!
Now you come to mention it, I can see the resemblance to France. I hadn’t thought of that.
Ok, I wouldn’t have guessed where it was just thought that it looked hot
It does look hot even though it was taken in Autumn
