Oh, that is a beautiful rose… am guessing it’s an english rose? (saw one in an English garden in Calcutta – so big, and full of petals…)
I am not sure what sort it is. I always forget to look at the plant labels and I always get asked what the roses are. I shall try to do better next time
What a lovely idea to have a “Thought for the Week”
I agree with Eve, it’s a beautiful rose you’ve chosen Cherry Pie. For some reason I can’t grow roses yet everything else seems to do very well.
Thank you There are exactly 52 thoughts they come from my web page. When I get to the end I think I will carry on with the thoughts because I find them fun to discuss with other people.
That’s a true representation of you all right.
Are you meaning a pale English rose
Lovely photo, Cherie. Did you take it?
That rose is a beautiful colour.
Thank You I take nearly all the photos on my blog. You can hover over the pic and if says taken by KT on Flickr and not followed by a copyright message it is a pic I took
With you on that one, Cherie – and I, too, love the rose.
i think that quote is quite profound Glad you like the rose
English rose, yes.
That’s very sweet of you
A great thought of the week… and one that I think is true
It is isn’t it?
Beautiful rose!
Glad you like it
Very wide words Cherie
I think so too
It depends a lot on what one calls happiness. Sometimes, the travelling is as good as the arriving.
Your photos are always so wonderful. I could practically smell that rose on Flick’r. Thank you!
That reminds me of the Chinese proverb – It is better to travel hopefully than to arrive.
I am so glad you enjoy my photos, Thank you
Mmm – I think I can smell it too. Beautiful rose indeed.
Wise words to not be taken lightly.
I love that particular shade of pink
More words to make us think.
