I saw this very interesting photograph in the museum of The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards which is inside Edinburgh Castle. I couldn’t resist trying to get a photo of it and you can probably see that I have managed to get my own reflection in the glass too.
All I can say about the photo is rather him than me!!!

Gorgeous. A Royal Scots Dragoon Guards, in a desert making music in front of a tank. Heroic!
Ah, it’s so good to know that it is possible to write a comment without filtres.
Ahh! those filters… I have faith in my readers:-)
I agree with your sentiments completely.
My photohunt entry is up!
Mmm! scary thought!
What was the Challenger tank doing approaching at speed anyway?
Probably showing off
At the battle of El Alamein the pipers walked in line and behind them the soldiers who were followed by the tanks. Apparently the Germans were so terrified of the wailing noise from the bagpipes that many ran away, so playing a bagpipe in front of a tank is nothing new but an excellent way to stop that horrible din!
The din of the Challenger (believe me that is loud!!!)or the bagpipes?
I really love the effect you’ve produced, whether or not it was intended!
It was a surprise but I like the effect
Very patriotic!
Here’s my entry
I am very patriotic

Very good entry patriotic one. Happy hunting!
So glad you like it
Hmm if playing bagpipes in front of tank.. make sure you play something they like!
I think if playing bagpipes in front of a tank… be prepared to run to the side at the last minute
LOL. What a challenge but you succeeded. Happy weekend Cherie
I just loved that pic Challenging the Challenger
Well done for getting the shot!
Thank you
I like the picture. It’s something special – and made all the more unique by the reflection
Thank you, it is a bit different isn’t it?
I think that reflection in the glass makes it seem both more and less fearful – because simultaneously emphasises (a) the fact that it’s war + (b) the opposing fact that it’s merely a model. Interesting one, Cherie.
I have the added advantage of seeing a challenger 2 first hand. Thankfully never at such speed though!
