In my view the most interesting city in the UK, visually. I lived there for a short while in 1993. But despite the architectural eye candy the social life was quite dull. I imagine it’s perked up a bit as a result of devolution.
I agree, there is a lot of nice architecture in Edinburgh. I have only ever stayed there once and the experience was enough to put me off staying there again.
Great pics. I love the panorama
Glad you like them
You get around, Cherie. Is there any part of the UK and Ireland you haven’t seen?
I haven’t seen any of Ireland It is on my list of places to visit.
Beautiful country, especially the north.
I have to go don’t I?
Lovely photos. To my shame, I’ve never been to Edinburgh.
Maybe you will get chance next time you visit the UK
Lovely. Did your camera lense also detect the Cemetary for Soldiers’ Dogs?
Thank you for reminding me, I remember that from the last time I visited. Sadly not photos…
Your photos are always impressive. I’m grateful you’re sharing as I’ll never go to the places you’re visiting. Edinburg seems so interesting, and the Castle is marvellous though a little bit austere looking.
Thank you, I am glad you enjoy my photographs and journeys
Forgot to say that I love your changing header images. Great blog, CherryPie. Thanks!
I will be experimenting with them a lot more now I have worked out how to get my own pics in the header
And there’s more: hooray! Actually I already knew as a latecomer … Lovely pix, Cherie. Thank you.
PS Like Claudia, I am also enjoying the changing pix on the masthead.
Thank you they are all mine now and I hope to change them frequently now I figured out how easy it is.
