During my recent visit to Sunnycroft, a cat took me by surprise when it peered out from behind a tree and looked at me.   After a while the cat walked towards me, rubbed his body around my legs as cats are wont to do, then moved on to make his own unexpected discoveries in the undergrowth.

Hey, that was just like the one I saw sitting on that boat the other day.
(My bit on Diana Dors). These Ginger Moggies get everywhere. I had one with similar markings many years ago called ‘Lynton’. He had a heart problem and died early :(

It brightens your day (doesn’t it?) to meet a friendly animal. And it always brightens mine to see one on a post. Thanks!

Cats are excellent judges of human beings in my experience :-) ! But, as Claudia says, this kind of incident can really make one’s day. Lovely, Cherie – thank you.

Cats often make a beeline for me and when I am visiting people who own cats, the cats often sit on my lap. I am not too keen when they do that thing with the claws on the fleshy bit below my kneecaps though!
