It was such a lovely day yesterday that it would have been nice to get out and about somewhere, especially because the lounge floor had been taken over by a wargame. Unfortunately there were jobs to do, but even those got put on hold because the war game didn’t quite happen. Before lunch everything was packed away in it’s boxes without a shot being fired.
Then I was persuaded to get one of my board games out which took most of the afternoon to play. To save cooking we had fish and chips for dinner and then retired to the patio where we stayed until the stars came out. The visitors still showed no signs of leaving, but did eventually leave at nearly 2 in the morning!! I am rather tired today.
With such an inviting patio, beautiful flowers and a starry night, I’m surprised your guests left before breakfast!
Well if you are ever visiting over this way let me know and I will be sure to invite you
Oh yes, we have had visitors like those! lol!
I guess they must have felt quite at home
Warm evening with floral patio – very nice.
You are perfectly welcome to drop by
Very pleasant way to spend an evening/day.
It was great
Aaah, relaxing on the patio with a glass of wine and kids asleep. Far more satisfying than puerilities from bloggers struggling for words this evening.

people stay forever because they enjoy your company

I have been reading through lots of your posts, playing catch up. But, I especially love this one…it just looks like summer somehow. I hope you enjoyed the stars
Thanks Chrissy, I did I just wish my camera was up to photographing them. At least I have my memories of them
