After a busy day out and about in the sun yesterday, I allowed myself to get sidetracked on the way home. When I got home it was time to light the BBQ and take advantage of the summer weather. It is always nice to sit out in the back garden as the rays of sun shine through the oak tree.
Then to finish the day off we just had to get one of those board games on the table
An open bottle of cold beer – that would have been perfect for the photo hunt theme too!
In a very special pub too
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Cold beer – just watching TV here getting ready for Wimbledon!
Cold beer and chilling out sounds fine to me.
Looks like a beer to me.
It is Beer James, more accurately it is Belgian Beer.
I’m always interested in beers and at one time I used to collect the labels from beers all over the country. That bottle label seems to have a picture of that naughty little boy in Brussels having a wee wee!
Was the beer that bad? :0
And…..Cherry Pie, ….the Cock Hotel…!! :0
Tut, tut.
“You are naughty……but I like you!”
It is that naughty little boy, it is a Belgian beer and it was very nice
Now I did wonder if someone would bring up the name of the pub!
I didn’t notice until after I had taken the photo that it could be a little controversial
We played two new (to me) games on holiday. One was all about branding and logos – might even have been called Logos! – and the other was Imaginiff. Both good fun.
I have not played either of those although I have heard of the second one.
What a tease, CP. Never mind the games, I desperately want that beer in that particular glass.
It was a very nice beer and the glass was frosted, very nice to drink from.
Board games with friends… something from the past and even my boys are too old to play now but at least i have words with friends on the iphone now
If you lived a bit closer I would play board games with you
