In the comments section of my previous post Jams suggested that I go back to the walled garden at Attingham every few just to show how it changes. As luck would have it I already have some of the same portion of the garden that were taken in April this year. They are not taken from quite the same angle but you will get the idea.

What are period plants?
If you are referring to the middle picture it says ‘potted plants’.
Although I didn’t mention it in my post the garden is going to be planted out by period. Each section will show plants from a particular era.
I like the idea of going back and looking at the changes. It is very interesting to see the changes. I found some pictures of my garden last year mid-October and I was so surprised to how much more was still growing last year – which was very warm.
It is interesting to see how things change isn’t it?
