Once again Christmas seems to be crowding in on me, there is always so much to do and so little time… Today I embarked on a small shopping expedition to get things back on track. Through no fault of my own it turned into a major shopping expedition (more than two hours). I am sure you will all remember I am not fond of shopping, it comes a long way down on my list of things to do. It was quite a productive day though, so perhaps I shouldn’t complain too much.

When I got home I have to confess to falling asleep in the chair before my evening meal, which is quite unusual for me.

After the evening meal I decided to design and do a preview print of this year’s Christmas cards. I had no trouble with the designing but the printer and software programme decided to play up (as usual) making a simple job much longer than it needed to be!  The job is now finished and I am chilling out a little before getting some well earned sleep :-)

Oh you are a girl after my own heart..no heights, no shopping…

Christmas this year is not going to be commercial for me. I’d not expect to receive any gifts, nor am I giving them. I’m disappearing. For those with families, this is a more difficult stance to take, of course.

I’ll still send Christmas wishes and hope one or two would come my way.

Christmas has never been very commercial for me or my family. We enjoy having a nice family Christmas and get together. This year will of course be difficult for us.

I am not keen on shopping either, although I used to be.
