      The original photo reminded me of ‘Dark Satanic Mills’ and the industrial revolution and the the cotton mills in Lancashire. Which just cried out for a bit of photo manipulation to express the thought :-)

    Oh Cherie… the processing is awesome on this delightful windmill- absolutely love it!
    I’m working with HDR imaging and next few posts will show my attempts at accomplishing this :)

      I am so glad you like it :-) The original was almost a silhouette against a plain sky. When I played around with it in Corel Painter it picked out details in the sky not seen in the original photo. I got a more colourful but less dramatic version but I liked the darkness and contrast of this one more :-)

      I am looking forward to seeing your HDR posts, it is something I have not tried.
