Ah… the lady of the lake.
That sounds a lot nicer than the title I gave the photo Now can you tell me where Merlin is?
Not that lady. Not that lake. Sorry
Probably just as well
I like this a lot…the light/shadows and the colors. Happy weekend to you.
Thanks Annie, Happy weekend to you too
Oh i like that shadow… happy hunting. Happy weekend…Mine is ready.
I am glad you do
I have a feeling that if I saw that green stuff in the picture in real life, I’d think it mucky and yucky. But in the photo, it looks beautiful.
I looks quite fluorescent when you see if for real and it is quite fascinating. I does spoil the look of the lake though.
One of your best yet, Cherie.
Hmm…. I am not sure about that.
great pic. i love the colours as well.
happy weekend!
The colours are rather bright aren’t they?
Did your shadow not get very wet!
I think the scummy weed protected it from the water
Love the shadows you captured here. Wonderful color!
Thanks Marcie
I love the the range of coolours around the shadow, Great photo!
Thanks Jams
This is a very nice shadow shot. I really love the range of colors, and the beautiful fern shadows that flank you.
Thank you I find the fern shadow quite interesting.
Beautiful ! very original !
Thanks Gattina
Great photohunt!
Thanks Sandi
Shadow on duckweed – or at least that is what it is called here. I have really been enjoying the diversity of backgrounds for the shadows. I think this is the most unique so far.
Yes we call it duckweed too I am glad you enjoyed the shadow background
What a beautiful shot Cherie, most people don’t find such a gorgeous background to cast their shadow upon for a photo. Still what lies hidden beneath that lovely surface?
Happy weekend to you.
Thanks jmb I am glad you found it so appealing
Happy weekend to you too
What a lovely photo!
JMB’s comment reminds me of a French film “Les Diabolique”, with Simone Signoret. A weedy swimming pool features in it…
Thanks Anneke
I have not come across that film before.
Unique photo Cherie. Although probably a tad mucky ponds with duckweed make a fascinating study.
It looked quite fascinating close up. It looked like a carpet you could walk on!
