Sudbury hall is quite impressive, inside and out. The staircase is beautiful with all its intricacies. Interesting post on the powers of nature–is there anything more powerful? The US has been having storms with major damage occurring–it certainly put one in “awe” of what nature can do. Have a lovely weekend. Mickie
It is an interesting place to visit, I feel privileged to have the opportunity to visit all the places that have been preserved in this way.
I have heard about the damage in the US and how violent the storms have recently been, ‘awe’ is the way I feel about it too.

The baskets are made of elm wood and are quite unusual in design
