Wow….those are fabulous pieces of wood!
Thanks Ruth
There is a lot of wood in old houses Cherie and you have captured the textures of it all so very well… i love your shot of the photo on an easel through the railing….peter:)
Thanks Peter This one is a very old house!
I don’t imagine it would have been quite so clean and neat inside originally! Old houses have so much character though.
I can imagine there being sawdust on the floor in times gone by…
Absolutely beautiful wooden house!!
Thanks Mar
A great collection. I love big old wooden beams like these. Very nice!
They add a lot of character don’t they?
Beautiful photos.
My entries for Wooden are here and here.
Thanks Liz
I love visiting old buildings like that! Great photos!
Here’s My Photo
Thanks Vicki
Great shots.
I am always amazed at how long the wood used in some older constructions lasts. how is it that the wood used in my 8 year old house is already deteriorating Hmmmm
Have a great weekend!
I think in olden times they used to season the wood properly and let it dry out before it was used.
A very nice choice for the theme (not that I played this week). A beautiful building
Thanks Jams
