The garden at Knole is only open on certain days and I keep picking the wrong day to visit. So this is just a sneak preview of the garden through a gateway.

Why do you get the wrong day?
Because I visit Kent at the weekend and the garden is open on a weekday!
That’s a shame
It is rather, I would love to see it
Oh..it’s lovely!! I can just imagine what it looks like from within.
I was such a tantalising glimpse. I need to make sure a visit to Kent includes a day when it is open.
Knole Park is closed on weekends? And who’s feeding the deer then?
Only the garden is closed. I don’t think the deer are allowed in the garden
they roam freely in the parkland.
Oh yes, I think I took the Park for the Garden.
The reason why the garden is only open occasionally is because that part of the house is still lived in and used by the owners.
Old men sometimes need a bit longer to … think they have understood …
That happens to everyone, but not everyone would admit it
That is one gorgeous old building.
It is quite spectacular
