  2. It looks a fantastic place. Its buildings with this kind of look and feel that make me think how awesome (Americanism, I know, but it is the 4th of July…) it would be to live in a castle…

    That top one reminds me of my photography days. The problem is the back lighting of the sky of course, requiring fill flash for the first few metres but what about the long distance near the top? Filters are the only way, I suppose.

      If I knew how to do it there is a setting I can change so that I could take the exposure reading from the church and keep it on that setting as I recomposed the picture.

      In this case it was just pot luck and if I tried to bring the highlights out in the church now it would look a little grainy.
