I have just looked at the link re: booking a w/e in Paris and judging by your weekend in Carcassone which I have also read and seen the photos I think your special event was pretty successful. Interesting post, I also love Paris, who doesn’t?
Thanks Claire, I am looking forward to the trip to Paris now that it is all booked
Bon Voyage! Looking forward to great photos, as always.
And Paris is very photogenic
Is that a photo of Paris Vincent van Gogh-ified? The tricks available in the digital world eh? If my presumption is correct I’d like to see a picture of you as painted by Vincent. Not sure if you do requests though.
It is a Coral Painter effect. I can’t remember what painting setting I used.
How about this one?

Are are you looking for a more recent or more abstract creation
That’s very fine, though more Lautrec than Van Gogh
I thought the self portrait was on much the same lines as the tower picture. The same painting style. Are you after something more Gothic!
The clouds in the Eiffel Tower picture looked very much like Vincent van Gogh’s clouds. No, I do not want to see you turned Gothic, for I fear that may scare me too much Let’s just leave you as you are now.
Your wish is my command.
I shall try to remain as I am now
I am not in the business of SCARING people
Paris? Yeah, remember to bring back some macarons! )
Are you there by Eurostar?
Macaroons??
Not Eurostar. Flying, it is easier (and cheaper) from where I live!
Love what you did with those clouds!
Thank You
