Yesterday was a quiet relaxing day at home with my Mum enjoying the traditions of the season. The festivities are ongoing as I am spending today with my brother and nephews, so bear with me if I am a little slow in commenting

Christmas is about family gathering, eating, playing games, etc
I totally agree, that is what our family gatherings are all about too. We used to add into the mix the Christmas TV, but now that has gone downhill that is substituted by just the right DVD
It works, so a fun time is had by all
