The fine woodland walk led us to the secret garden:
There is the Walled Garden, half a mile from the house through the East Wood, opening up like a secret suddenly revealed. Developed with flowers and shrubs, rather than kitchen produce, by the National Trust, this garden still retains its intimacy and has colour all year round. On the terrace is the hot-house, typically Edwardian, with giant fuchias, begonias and terracotta urns from Italy.*

Lovely and striking silhouette
Thank you I had a very nice statue to work with.
That statues are amazing! I really miss the statues we had on our farm, and English gardens in general! Thanks for the pics.
What statues did you have on your farm?
But it’s no longer a secret now
We all know where to find it.
After the walk through the woodlands the entrance provides an unexpected surprise
We had a few statues around the koi pond, mainly women with delicate sheer cloth draped over them[that they could capture such wispiness in concrete was a marvel] and Venus de Milo. I think we had David, as well. I would have brought them to Canada but they were made of concrete and too heavy!
They sound nice
Classic shot, nice silhouette, well taken.
Thank You
