Absolutely stunning images! Where is Wallington?
Northumberland in a corner of the world that feels like home to me…
Such a lovely garden.
Love their dahlias.
They stand out even though they are hiding in amongst…
How many times have I said it: you English sure know how to make a garden!!!
There is nothing quite like an English garden is there?
The rain makes everything look especially lush.
The rain certainly does bring out the colours
The photography is stunning Cherie, must pay Wallington a visit next time we go up to Northumberland, I love the way you sort of walk us through the gardens with the terrific pictures.
Who is the statue of, (the young lady holding a posy) ? Also the statue of the naked young man, baring his muscular btm…….
love Di..xx
Our visit was cut a little short it started heaving down with rain. Luckily I insisted on doing the garden first, so we got to enjoy that before it started raining too much! After that we had lunch and then went in the house. The rain was set in, so we didn’t explore the grounds further.
I am not sure who the lady is but the young man is Neptune.
Again, our grey city has been covered with new, cold snow during the night. Your wet, green, flowered Garden is a delight to see, Cherie. Thank you!
I will have to take some spring photographs for you. Things are beginning to leaf and bloom here and the orange globe has been playing in the sky. I sat outside soaking up the warmth on Sunday afternoon.
Cherie – that’s not you in perpetuity is it?
That would be telling
Well, you’re looking pretty svelte then.
