They certainly do!
It was delicious
Made especially for you…with your name all over it, Cherry. See you soon!!!
Looking forward to it
Hmm… I’m so hungry now!
Made to make your mouth water
Just about time for that now.
Are you going to hop on the Eurostar?
Delightful! Bon Appétit.
Thank you
Lovely. I must go back. Many people laugh at Belgium and deride it but I like it, and not just the “pretty” places, I like its atmosphere – just something about it – and the smell of waffles and coffee, and In Georges Simenon perhps, on balance, the author whose fiction I have most enjoyed (an effortless master of the novella). Thanks for making me think of Belgium again, and the worth of novellas.
Belgium does have a good atmosphere and I was quite taken with Mechelen. I wasn’t ready to come home at the end of the break.
Mmm! They look delicious, would love to try one in Belgium, of course…I wonder how compatible travelling to and around parts of Belgium in an electric wheelchair, I believe the Euro tunnel trains are well equipped for such.
Do they speak French still in Belgium Cherie or does it depend where about you go ?
I am enjoying reading about your trip,
Di..xx
It depends on where you go as to the language they speak. In Mechlen they speak Flemish.
Never tried anything like this before, nice photo.
On a side note, when with people I always get the butt of peoples jokes for photographing food.
On another note, being essentially a landscape or outdoors person, I find it difficult to get the focusing and / or the light right on such subjects on occasions.
I tend to use the auto setting when I am photographing something I am about to eat. It saves time and doesn’t annoy the people I am with too much.
