You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you.

  1. Am trying to work out the significance of the sheep though.

A couple of options (plus the one that it is just a nice picture and I am “overthinking” again).

  2. Sean Jeating says:

Being interested in sheep I do not necessarily need them to become interested in me, let alone becoming my friends.
    Interesting image. :)

  3. Lisl says:

Beautiful rural scene – it is difficult for me to resist photographing sheep in all their variety. I can see why you posted this very pleasing shot. And I like your quote, Cherie – that is just so true

  4. Ginnie says:

I LOVE the sheep, Cherry, and am sure I have more sheep friends than anyone else in the whole wide world. HA! Fabulous quote and so true.

  5. Claude says:

As long as you are TRULY interested in your newly acquired friends, and not wanting just to brag about the number you have. Some people, on Facebook, have over two thousands “friends”. That’s more sheep than I would want to have in my life.

    Great photo, Cherie!

Ah yes it has to be ‘true’ friendship and interest not just superficial. It always makes me smile in amusement when people have such long lists of ‘friends’ on their social network sites.

  6. Jane says:

If it comes from Dale Carnegie you know it has to be good. Love sheep too!

  7. He he…But I don’t speak sheep though.
How can I befriend them in two months? ;)
    Baa baa

  8. Profound comment Cherie, so true too !
I like the sheep, I often feel guilty for loving Roast Lamb so much !
Well, only just before the first mouthful…

    Di..xx

Ginnie and her sheep :) it is so much fun to see Ginnie with sheep, maybe in her past life, she was one :)
Great quote and I think that is true. People that always talk about them self and think of them being ‘interesting’ are kind of boring…..
