Ready Steady Go

The sun was shining through the trees showing the leaves off in a glowy light.   There was a gentle breeze, the birds were singing, the rabbits were grazing and I tuned a few heads as I cycled past…

A perfect evening :-)

My bike has smaller wheels, a canvas basket and a 200 watt electric motor in the back wheel ! :) And as it is winter and I am expecting snow tomorrow, I shall have to simply enjoy your rides while I rest inside in the warm.

    :)

Thinking of electric bicycles reminds me of one of my trips to Northumberland. I couple of the other guests had gone out on their electric bicycles and the batteries had gone flat part way along their route. They got more than they bargained for in the terms of excercise ;-)

I haven’t seen a bike like that before, with a garden seat and rubbish bin attached. :)

That’s a lovely picture! I can just see you riding down some country lane, Cherie, with a baguette, bottle of red wine and some wild flowers in your basket. Maybe even a teddy bear peeping out! :)

I did cycle through a neighbouring estate to some country fields. On all the gates was a sign saying ‘designated for future development’. More houses…

I am working my way up to carrying picnic lunch in the basket ;-) Just need to get my cycle legs back into practice then who knows where I might go :-)

  4. Your white bike looks so classy! :)

Oh, how fun, Cherry. I’d love to join you on a bike ride!

  6. I know a blogger who visits you and who may quite like to see a photo of Cherie on bicycle, and even add it to his series.

Hope you are enjoying your bike rides. I’m exploring a bit further these days along the river bank … still avoiding the hills :-) up to about 20 miles return.
