Truly weird, sticking out like that.

To me, Avebury has more mystery and symbolism than Stonehenge – although I’ve never been to Stonehenge ;)

I find both Avebury and Stonehenge and the surrounding areas fascinating. Each time I go anywhere near Avebury I have to stop, look and wonder at Silbury Hill!!

  3. ’tis true, Alberto (almost)

  4. Sigrun says:

Oh Avebury. We have visited the place last year. Fascinating.

True, so true…and then there’s Avebury! Don’t you wonder what they tried “new” there?!

  6. What about those of us who keep making mistakes with things we’ve tried before!? Only joking – it’s a wise thought. And I love Avebury.

Although I was too late to comment, I loved our Oxford trip! :)

This quote for The Thought For the day is lovely.

And those stones! Are they misshapen from the weather and wind of so many centuries ?

This is an amazing place with a lot of energy. Great POV with the stones.
My dad used to say to me as a child, rather make a wrong decision than no decision at all. (….and sometimes I learn from my mistakes too HA HA)
