Truly weird, sticking out like that.
I find the stones fascinating!!
To me, Avebury has more mystery and symbolism than Stonehenge – although I’ve never been to Stonehenge
I find both Avebury and Stonehenge and the surrounding areas fascinating. Each time I go anywhere near Avebury I have to stop, look and wonder at Silbury Hill!!
’tis true, Alberto (almost)
Almost…
. . . obviously.
Oh Avebury. We have visited the place last year. Fascinating.

I agree
True, so true…and then there’s Avebury! Don’t you wonder what they tried “new” there?!
Yes lots of unanswered questions there.

I am glad you enjoyed the Oxford trip
I am not sure how the stones would have been.
This is an amazing place with a lot of energy. Great POV with the stones.
My dad used to say to me as a child, rather make a wrong decision than no decision at all. (….and sometimes I learn from my mistakes too HA HA)
The place does have a lot of energy. On this visit there were too many people to appreciate that properly.
I like your dad’s thinking
