True. But sometimes it is the page with the best bit. And sometimes we can learn what is on other pages by following Cherie around on her travels.
I am pretty sure St Augustine would have been approving of the internet.
I came across this quote whilst I was researching my next travel adventure
It was quoted on one of the websites I visited.
I agree that with the thought that St Augustine would be a fan of the internet.
I like the page (and the book) that features in my photograph
So true, Cherry. So true. Maybe that’s why I travel more in my senior years than read?!
Currently I do a bit more reading than travelling. I also read when I am travelling
I also like seeing the world through other peoples eyes
I love the two above comments. I think everybody has its own story about reading books and traveling. I love traveling and I love to read about where I go or went.
And maybe it is good that there are people that don’t fancy traveling… it will give us more space at the places we like to visit…
I am so glad you have now 4 tires that are full of air and do what they need to do.
I have to say that is quite nice of the garage to make the deal.
Have a great day.
Thanks Astrid
I love to read and research the places I visit both before and after my journey. It adds such a lot of depth for me and allows me to seek out the best bits of the places I visit.
I am glad all my tyres are fully functional now. My colleague at work was rather alarmed when I told him about it. He comments were ‘you could have had a blow out on the motorway’. The thought had also crossed my mind…
Who needs books anymore?
We have Kindles now.
Plus a page can be a very long page
You can’t beat ‘real’ books
I was just reading a book about anti-gravity.
I can’t put it down.
HaHaHa
I LOVE that book photo! And I agree about travelling, I love to travel.
It is the wonderful lighting that inspires the book
The woodwork as well. That is one incredible photo!
Thank you
