Welcome back too!
Oh I’d love to visit Newcastle one day too.
It is well worth a visit. I fell in love with Newcastle, many years ago.
That’s simply fabulous.
I was pleased with the view
I see you were given the penthouse suite this time
We were on floor 10 and as you know on this side of the building the ground floor is floor 6
So yes we did have a penthouse view
I am catching up onto your pictures. Already I saw some on FB. I love the bridge picture. That is some view.
Thanks Astrid, we really enjoyed the view and the holiday. I hope you enjoyed your holiday too
That photo is stunning. I love the haze the mist creates. You captured it beautifully! I wonder if you ever enter your photos in contests? Surely, you’d win!
Have you ever heard of Ernest Sébastien? He is a photographer who travels the continent photographing old, abandoned buildings-often like time capsules, still furnished. His work is incredible!!!!
Thank you, I am glad you enjoyed the view
I have not heard of Ernest Sébastien his work sounds fascinating.
Bit of info in case anyone is interested -
The bridge in the photo is the High Level Bridge which carries road traffic on its lower deck and rail traffic on its upper deck. Designed by Robert Stephenson (son of George Stephenson, the ‘Father of the Railways’)
