very neat! the white door is a bit unusual and stands out, CP.
The new pathway in contrast with the buildings around it stands out to me…
I think Tewkesbury Abbey was very fortunate to have been saved during the Dissolution of the Monasteries. It was too lovely and important to destroy.
It is a beautiful Abbey. I think someone of influence must have stopped the destruction for one reason or another.
Lovely photos even if it was raining. I really enjoyed my visit to Tewkesbury Abbey and hope I can go again one day.
On this occasion we didn’t go inside the Abbey but on our return from Winchester after our Easter break we were able to. The Easter garden was amazing!
Did you enjoy the rain?
Finally you got a good excuse to have a proper cream tea.
Our proper cream tea was on a delightfully sunny day. Sunny days are quite rare this summer!
