Nice photo of geese and there little one.
Coffee is on
The little ones were cute
Yes, kindness is so important.
What a wonderful thought and image, Cherry!
Thank you
A great picture, Cherry. Most of the times it is easy to be kind and nice… and other times I have to force myself, that other person might have drank a bottle of vinegar, not easy to be kind after she finished that bottle ……… (just being honest)
I totally agree with you. When someone is being mean and nasty towards me it brings out the worst in me and I always dislike myself after the encounter.
In such hot weather, heaven is where you can find any pool.
Dive in.
In this context ‘pool’ can have many meanings
Lovely thought, CP.
Thank you
Nice geese. Lovely photo. No more goose at the festive season then. Eating them seems unkind to the little creatures.
And don’t forget plants and vegetables… There are experiments that show that they feel pain and react to negative thoughts and actions directed at them.
With thoughts like that, man would soon be extinct
Birds also kill to eat:

Animals should be treated kindly even when they are part of the food chain.
Oh… the old Backster effect? I quote you “In the ensuing years, several legitimate plant scientists tried to reproduce the Backster effect without success. Much of the science in “The Secret Life of Plants” has been discredited”… There is an awful lot of utter tosh claimed in the name of supposed science (even if my cut flowers are glaring at me as I write and screaming I am a murderer).
I have not heard of the Backster effect, you will have to explain that to me.
I have read some interesting books on plant life. Two in particular spring to mind.
I have read too, and have been unimpressed. A plant is cut, there is a physical reaction that spreads through the system, unsurprisingly, and some human decides to call it “pain”. A human talks to a plant, all the time breathing out carbon dioxide and water vapour – its food – all over it, and the cells respond in a way some human decides is a response to the talking rather than to the carbon dioxide and the water vapour. Chemicals released by plants have chemical influences on others, unsurprisingly, but some human decides they are communicating as if “aware” of each other. But of course we must all kill something to survive, until we evolve to photosynthesise for ourselves. As for geese and ducks and lambs and cattle and kindness, however, I do know that our modern mass production methods of meat and dairy production treats most animals, in ways that are far removed from “kindness”, which was my point. I still eat meat though, occasionally, and dairy, often. I will never reach that “heaven”.
I think you are already in ‘heaven’
