The sun put its hat on for my final walk of 2020.
Mr C accompanied me so I chose the route carefully to avoid possible patches of black ice or flooding.
Happy New Year to you all. I hope 2021 treats us all kindly

You are brave to walk in this – it is like an ice rink outside with a dusting of snow. Happy New Year to you both
We waited until the afternoon sun had made the pathways safe. I avoided the paths that I knew would be unsafe to walk on.
Wishing you both a Happy and Healthy New Year.
And the same to you Caroline.
Happy New Year to you and Mr C..
Thank you
Lovely images, as ever. Good wishes to you both for 2021.
Hopefully this year will be better for all of us
i like the sprinkling of snow/ice all over, CP. happy new year to you and Mr C.
Thank you
The snow seen here is about the same that north Hampshire had earlier in the week. Mr C does not seem to be shod for walks off the tarmac
Mr C is a reluctant walker (he never used to be). I bought him new boots at his request for Christmas 2019.
This walk would have been a good time to wear them
Still no snow in London though…
Maybe in February?
We had more snow today. It started falling as I finished my afternoon walk.
I love the geese on the ice! Presumably they have to keep moving..
A happy and healthy New Year to you both.
The geese were all doing different things. One was sitting down asleep and one was standing up asleep. Others were slipping and sliding around as they tried to walk on the ice. One feel through the ice and momentarily got stuck before forcing his body weight through the ice so he could swim. He then made his way safely to Terra Firma.
